BEST SPACE SCHOOL CONTEST

Challenge

Best Space School Contest invites educational institutions from all over Pakistan to conduct various World Space Week activities in their premises to promote space science and technology amongst students on the theme “Living in Space” and compete for the “Best Space School” title.

Participation

Open for all educational institutions in Pakistan

General Guidelines

• Educational institutions from all over Pakistan are eligible to participate in “Best Space School Contest”.
• Schools shall conduct different space related activities in their respective premises or online from 04 to 10 Oct 2025 only.
• After successfully conducting the event(s), the schools shall upload the event report on given template supported with pictures/videos of every activity and social media/electronic media/press coverage of the event by 20 October 2025 for evaluation.
• Please refer to the Guidebook to effectively plan WSW activities.

Rules of the Contest

• Educational institutions will decide the medium to conduct events at their convenience i.e: Physical, Online or Hybrid.
• It is mandatory to organize at least 2x activities related to WSW-25 theme “Living in Space”.
• A brief summary of the activities conducted along with pictures and videos must be shared on public Facebook page with the hashtag #WSW2025, #WSW25Pakistan and #LivingInSpace
• Schools shall be judged on the following criteria, primarily based on the report and pictorial evidence submitted to SEAD.
  • Total number of activities (including mandatory 2x activities related to WSW25 theme)
  • Total strength (participants + audience)
  • Ambiance (presentation, décor of the venue)
  • Innovative ideas (out of the box activity held relevant to the theme)
  • Media Coverage before and during the event (print/electronic/social media)
• All photos/media content must display a background containing SEAD, SUPARCO and WSW Logo and theme “Living in Space”.
