Comic Book on Rocket Revolution

Overview

Ever wondered what makes a rocket fly, how it escapes Earth's gravity, or how future rockets could take humans to the Moon and Mars? This contest invites students to turn their ideas into an exciting 8–10 page comic book based on the theme "Rocket Revolution."

Participants are encouraged to combine creative storytelling with basic rocket science. Your comic can take readers on a journey through the history of rockets, explore today's reusable launch vehicles, or imagine the rockets and space missions of the future.

Create a story that is original, engaging, easy to understand, and scientifically meaningful. You can tell your story through adventure, humor, science fiction, or imagination; as long as it connects to the Rocket Revolution and helps readers learn something about rockets and space exploration.

What Your Comic Can Explore

Your story may focus on, but is not limited to:

• The evolution of rockets and space exploration
• How rockets generate thrust and overcome Earth's gravity
• Multi-stage rockets and efficient propulsion
• Reusable rockets and the future of space launches
• A journey to the Moon or Mars
• Future rockets and human space exploration
• A fictional space mission or rocket adventure
• How rocket technology can benefit life on Earth

Rules & Guidelines

• Participation: The contest is open to students across Pakistan.
• Format: Each entry must be a 8–10 page comic book.
• Originality: The comic must be the original creative work of the participating student. Copied or plagiarized work will not be considered.
• Theme: The story must be relevant to the World Space Week 2026 theme, "Rocket Revolution."
• Science Content: The comic must include basic and scientifically accurate concepts related to rockets or space exploration. Examples include gravity, thrust, propulsion, fuel, multi-stage rockets, orbit, reusable rockets, or space missions.
• Storytelling: The comic should have a clear beginning, middle, and ending. A good story should present a challenge, mission, or problem and show how science or technology helps address it.
• Artwork: Entries may be digitally created. Artwork, characters, dialogue, and storyline should be created by the participant.
• Language: Entries may be submitted in English or Urdu language. Text should be clear and easy to understand.
• Content: Entries must be appropriate for a general audience and should promote creativity, scientific thinking, and the positive use of space science and technology.
• Logos & Theme: The SEAD logo, WSW logo, and World Space Week 2026 theme "Rocket Revolution" must be clearly incorporated into the submitted comic. Entries missing the required branding may be disqualified.
• File Format: All pages must be compiled in the correct sequence and submitted as one PDF file.
• Submission: The entry must be submitted through the designated WSW 2026 submission portal before the deadline.
• Judging: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, scientific accuracy, storytelling, visual presentation, and overall impact.
• Decision: The decision of the judging committee will be final and will not be subject to appeal.
