Space Ambassador Contest

Challenge

Bloggers, vloggers, space enthusiasts, science societies, and amateur astronomers are encouraged to become active Space Ambassadors by promoting space science, technology, and education through space-themed events and activities in their communities.

As Space Ambassadors, participants will motivate and engage the public by exploring the Rocket Revolution and its role in transforming access to space. From reusable launch vehicles and advanced propulsion systems to innovative technologies making space missions more frequent, efficient, and accessible, participants will showcase how the evolution of rockets is opening new frontiers for exploration, scientific discovery, and innovation.

Through their activities, Space Ambassadors will help audiences understand the science and technology behind modern rockets, celebrate humanity's achievements in space exploration, and encourage the youth to learn, participate, and contribute to the future of space.

General Guidelines

  • Eligible participants include bloggers, vloggers, sky/space watchers, amateur astronomers, students, science societies, space hobbyists, STEM educationists, and all individuals passionate about space.
  • Events must be conducted between 04–10 October 2026 only, as part of World Space Week celebrations.
  • After successfully conducting the event(s), participants must submit an Event Report on the provided template by 20 October 2026. Reports must be supported with photographs, videos, and any media coverage (print, electronic, or social media).
  • Entries will be evaluated based on:
    • Level of participation and outreach
    • Ambiance and engagement of the event
    • Creativity and innovative ideas
    • Media coverage (print, electronic, social)
    • Relevance to the WSW 2026 theme "Rocket Revolution"
  • All photographs and media content must clearly display a background containing the SUPARCO, SEAD, and WSW theme banners along with the organizer's own logo.
  • The evaluation and final judgment will be carried out by SEAD. All decisions will be final and not subject to appeal.
