Design Your Rocket

Overview

If you could design a rocket of the future, what would it do? As part of World Space Week 2026 – "Rocket Revolution," participants are invited to design and draw their own futuristic rocket and imagine how it could change the way we explore and use space.

Your rocket could travel to the Moon, Mars, or beyond, launch satellites, carry astronauts, explore distant worlds, or even use innovative technology to make space travel faster, safer, more affordable, or more sustainable. Give your rocket a name, create its design, and tell us what makes it revolutionary!

You can draw your rocket on paper or create it digitally. Let your imagination take off!

Rules & Guidelines

• The contest is open to the general public across Pakistan.
• One entry per participant is allowed.
• The rocket design must be original and created by the participant.
• Entries may be hand-drawn or digitally designed.
• The design should clearly represent a rocket or rocket-powered vehicle.
• Each participant must give their rocket a name.
• Along with the design, participants must provide a short description of 50–100 words explaining:
  • What can your rocket do?
  • Where will it travel?
  • What makes it different from today's rockets?
  • How could it benefit space exploration or humanity?
• Participants are encouraged to include real or emerging technologies such as reusable systems, advanced propulsion, efficient fuel use, autonomous systems, or innovative spacecraft technology.
• Creative and imaginative ideas are welcome, but scientific concepts should be presented realistically where applicable.
• The SEAD logo, World Space Week logo, and World Space Week 2026 theme "Rocket Revolution" must be included in the final submission.
• Entries containing copied artwork, designs, or content from other sources will not be considered.
• Entries must be suitable for a general audience.
• The entry in PDF format must be submitted through the designated WSW 2026 submission portal before the deadline.
• The submission deadline is 20 October 2026.
